It started with Small Business Saturday.
In 2019, Starling Franco worked part time in the Department of Development at Dunkirk City Hall, helping set up Small Business Saturday. Meeting those owners made one thing obvious. The businesses with the best service were often the hardest to find online. Wrong hours. Missing information. No website at all.
He was the person to fix it. He had been repairing neighbors’ computers and modems since he was nine, and building websites since middle school. In 2021 he completed Google’s Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification. A few years after City Hall he put it all together and started Moovlin. Bella Vista Campground was the first client, and it is still a client today.
Today Moovlin manages websites and Google listings for more than ten local businesses and nonprofits, from Chautauqua County to Oklahoma. One client went from not ranked to first on the Google map in under 90 days. Another saw its website visitors more than double from one summer to the next, with no redesign. A third says Moovlin has made him ten times what it charges.
Nobody is locked into a long term contract. Clients stay because it works. Every site is built in house, along with the tools behind them: lead tracking that shows each client what their website produced, an AI assistant that answers customers’ questions on its own, and the tap to review cards their crews carry.
